We had a lovely calm and creative week again at Mums in Mind. The babies made their first Christmas presents, some gorgeous footprint coasters that the wonderful Rene from Goodlands Tea Party will take away and fire in her kiln. There was lots of chat around our craft table as some amazing vision boards were created. One mum felt particularly proud for having achieved this as it has been suggested in her support from Positive Step. It’s lovely to be backing up the professional support that mums sometimes have alongside group and providing a space for mums to just share and understand each other with no judgement. Our volunteers did a superb job of supporting the babies to sleep, feed and play while we ended the session with a nurturing mindfulness relaxation.
