We recently carried out an organisational review with the aim of helping Home-Start North Somerset move forward with a clear and strong strategy for the future. The funding for the review was included in our recent National Lottery Community Fund award and this enabled us to appoint Hawkins Charity Consultancy to carry out the work. The report assessed Home-Start’s current position in the post-pandemic landscape, identifying our strengths, weaknesses and opportunities to develop our services. The process helped us clarify what we need to do to continue meeting the needs of families in North Somerset. It also gave us a rare opportunity to gather 14 trustees and staff together for a morning to discuss the findings! Many thanks to Pete Hawkins for his valuable insight.
