We’d like to say THANK YOU to our brilliant team of compassionate, dedicated volunteers who have continued to do their utmost to support families in the past few months of lockdown. With home visiting off the cards, we’ve been working with the families that we support through regular phone calls to check in. Our volunteers have been adaptable and perceptive, from hearing the tone of a mum’s voice and knowing it’s not the right time, to lending that listening ear and reassurance at some of the most challenging times our families have faced. And thank you to our families for bearing with us while we’ve navigated unprecedented times. We can’t wait to get back to home visiting, it’s the very heart of what we do. But we’ve also learnt some brilliant lessons and had some new ideas and we’re looking forward to making our service even better in the future.
