Our next course starts on the 14th January and will last for 10 weeks. Our team will deliver a 4 hour session each week during which there are opportunities for discussion, activities, meeting existing volunteers and talks from our partner agencies. By the end of the course participants will have learned all they need to be a successful Home-Start volunteer.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my ten weeks of training; I’ve looked forward to every Wednesday and am sad that we will no longer be meeting! Having said that, I am very keen to move on to the next stage and start supporting a family.”
Coming to the course helped me to “develop confidence to fulfil the Home-Start role” , and another volunteer said ” I realise I do have some valuable skills”.
The best things about coming to the course were “learning about a fantastic charity organisation, meeting new people, having fun!”
